H.O.P.E. - Haitian Orphanage that Provides and Educates Building HOPE Fund Exceeds Goal! It is very humbling to be on the receiving end of overwhelming generosity.  The BUILDING HOPE fund has exceeded its goal!  Thanks to The Kokosing Group who matched gifts to $250,000 and all the folks who made up the first $250,000 plus, HOPE will be built for the future.  This new facility will allow us to care for and educate the girls as well as enlarge our community outreach and empowerment venues.  We are excited to see how God will use this facility, the girls and the ministries in Haiti to bring glory to His Name. Construction is moving along.  The foundation beams and columns are nearing completion and we enjoy surveying the new changes each day. The girls have moved into the lower level of the former facility (along with mom and dad) and love the room to spread out, to have class indoors, and to sleep in their beds again.  They were well prepared before entering the facility and we have not had any issues with fear in our temporary home. Greg and Cathie Benson (Haiti field director and super boss and his wife) have moved into the upstairs and this week welcomed the first (of many) teams to the “new” Mission House.  Many of us will grieve the loss of the former Mission House and the memories of special times there—but new memories will be built in Croix des Bouquets and lives will be changed here.
