Our Vision:
To provide a Christian family environment which will enable orphaned Haitian girls to grow and mature in order to demonstrate those principles in leadership roles in Haiti.
Our vision has become a home where orphaned girls will become sisters and be raised by a loving missionary family in a strong Christian family environment. As wives, mothers, professionals and community leaders, the girls will have a positive impact on the future of Haiti, having the skills and education needed to move into productive leadership roles in Haitian society.
Our History
The H.O.P.E. Center for Girls in Port au Prince, Haiti is a ministry originally undertaken by several mission trip team members visiting Haiti who witnessed the difficult lives and futures facing orphaned children. Their vision birthed an effort to purchase land in Haiti and construct an orphanage to care for and educate up to twenty young Haitian girls. Since that time, many have joined in this worthwhile effort providing time, money and talents in the construction of H.O.P.E. Center. The ministry is administered by CSI Ministries, a non-profit organization in Indiana, which provides support for missionaries in Haiti. |
