Thank you all so much for thinking of the girls this Christmas Season. Sponsors really knocked our socks off with their generosity and Christmas morning was very special to us this year.
Before we got to the *opening presents* part of the holiday, we spent some time talking about giving gifts. We talked about how giving gifts is a reminder to us that God gave us the greatest gift of all when He sent his Son to earth as a baby. This made it possible for us to enter into a relationship with God since Christ bridges the gap between our sin and God’s Holiness. It was awesome to see the girls excited about celebrating Jesus!
It was also great fun to watch the delighted smiles as the girls opened gifts chosen especially for them by someone who cares for them. They had fun discovering their treasures and then sharing their discoveries with each other.
Your participation in our Christmas celebration will be remembered throughout the year as we lift you in prayer and thank God for your willingness to share with these girls in Haiti.
