H.O.P.E. - Haitian Orphanage that Provides and Educates

The HOPE Center for Orphaned Girls exists to care for a small group of girls that have no other family.  Our aim is to raise them in a Christian family environment that meets their physical, emotional, spiritual and educational needs.

What does this look like in real terms?

Twenty little girls who know safety, security and love; who have overcome severe malnutrition and other illnesses; who know they have a special place in a loving family; who see God as the Giver of all good things; and who have inquisitive, bright minds.  These are twenty girls who have opportunities in a land lacking opportunity.  Girls who can develop their gifts and talents through opportunities and can leverage these gifts and talents to grow, love and serve-to make a difference in the future of Haiti.

Give a Day of Hope:  How would you like to provide just one day of hope for those less fortunate than you?  A day of love, shelter, food and nurturing.  You can, by participating in “Give a Day of H.O.P.E., a unique giving opportunity, one that you will want to explore and pursue!   Please go to Give a Day of H.O.P.E.  to learn more.

To all of our HOPE Supporters!

Greetings and thank you for your faithful support of the ministry of H.O.P.E. Your loyal partnership in this ministry has enabled us meet the daily needs of the 20 young ladies that call the new H.O.P.E. Center for Orphaned Girls their home. It is through this ministry that we have been able to provide these young ladies with physical necessities and a quality education within a strong Christian environment.

We give praise to God for His abundant provision over this past year. Although 2010 brought with it many challenges and struggles, 2011 has been a year of rebuilding and renewal. In July of this year the girls were able to move into their new home, and we celebrate with all those who through dedication of time, resources and manpower made this a reality. H.O.P.E. now stands as a testament to brothers and sisters in Christ who are willing to rise up to the challenge of providing for others.

It is such a challenge that we stand facing for 2012. Although the facilities are up and running, we will once again rely on faithful partners to help us maintain the daily operations of H.O.P.E. One of the methods of raising funds and awareness for these operational needs has been through our Give-A-Day of H.O.P.E. calendar program. It is with grateful and hopeful hearts that we ask you to prayerfully consider helping us this year. Would you commit to praying for H.O.P.E., the Banks, the girls, and all involved with H.O.P.E.? We know that without this, our most noble attempts are futile.

Financially, would you be willing to sponsor a day of H.O.P.E. for $200, the average daily cost of operating the H.O.P.E. Center for Orphaned Girls? If so, you can reserve your date by simply completing the form and on this website at Give a Day of H.O.P.E. and mailing it with your donation to CSI Ministries at the address provided. Please include “Give-A-Day” in the memo section of your check.

The date for renewals from last year’s calendar dates is November 4. The final date for all submissions will be November 11. These deadlines will help us to ensure that your desired dates can be acknowledged on the 2012 calendar. Of course as a thank you for your generosity, you will be receiving a copy of the 2012 Give-A-Day of H.O.P.E. calendar, created uniquely by the girls of H.O.P.E.

On behalf of Tim and Toby Banks, CSI Ministries, and the girls of H.O.P.E., thank you so much for you consideration and support. May God bless you for your faithfulness.

About H.O.P.E.:  The H.O.P.E. Center for Orphaned Girls is a grass roots mission first organized by several individuals and churches in conjunction with CSI Ministries to provide an ongoing mission to house, feed, clothe and educate orphans in Haiti.  Our mission is to provide for these children to adulthood.  Accordingly the girls are NOT candidates for adoption.  Join us as we endeavor to provide a Christian family environment to orphaned Haitian girls.

About Children's Rights:  The H.O.P.E. Center for Orphaned Girls (HCOG) takes the protection of children entrusted to the care of this facility seriously.  HCOG is committed to keeping children safe and uses the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child as the standard to ensure that the highest level of safety for children is maintained.
